Elks Softball Team League Champions
The Elks 112 Softball team is almost completely made up of Lodge members. There were many great nights spent at the softball complex rooting on our team. Even with an old grey-haired guy they still managed to end up on top in their league. |

Elks Flag Day Ceremony
The Sioux City Lodge has been holding a flag ceremony at Grandview Park every year for the last 60+ years on the weekend around flag day. It is done in conjunction with the Air National Guard's ceremony and opening night of the Sioux City Band. It is a nice night out that will explain the history of "Old Glory" followed by exceptional music from the Band. If you haven't gone, your really missing something. |

Elks Team Raises the Most
Sioux City Elks Lodge members are participating in the 5th annual Polar Plunge again this year. Last year we raised a total of $7500.00. It was a cold lake and a cold day with a water temperature around 36 degrees, but your team was once again the big money raiser. If you would like to see your lodge continue to raise the most click here and donate! |

Youth Wrestling
Our Lodge has sponsored youth wrestling for a number of years. One of our members, Kelly Kistner, is one of the coaches. They hold their annual sign-up at the Lodge, so watch upcoming events for the date. The wrestling club teaches the kids the basics of wrestling and allows them to participate in wrestling meets. |
Community Clean-up
Our Lodge has just taken over the obligation of cleaning up Triview Avenue which runs in front of our building. We will schedule a walk two or three times a year to clean up the street from Hamilton Blvd. to Pearl Street. Thanks to all that showed up and helped last time. The walk started at 9:00 and was done by 10:30. We collected several large bags of litter and some misc. items. Our next walk will be sometime this month. If you have any questions about the next cleanup day contact Dan Lewis down at the Lodge. |
